RAJASTHANI CUISINE OF INDIA

Image
India is known for its Culture, Traditions, Festivals and Food.  Every state has its own speciality when we talk about food, depending on the climatic conditions and other geographical factors. It is really interesting to know about the food while you travel different places and when it comes to India every city you travel you find a difference in flavours with different recipes.  During my trip to Rajasthan I had some really great experiences and one thing I always enjoyed is the food of my home country India. Rajasthan is one among my all time favorite places to visit and enjoy its authentic food. While travelling Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur or other cities of Rajasthan, I could see the dry deserted land and think how it is possible for such a state to have an amazing unique cuisine with dry areas without much rainfall and availability of water. But we all know that Rajasthan is still considered as India' s most visited place for its Royal and Rich cuisine. RAJASTHAN i...

5 BEST SILK SAREES INDIAN WOMAN OWN

Image
I, a woman and a daughter have so many beautiful memories of my mother with an everlasting picture of her in a saree . How graceful and elegant she looked and her wardrobe filled with vibrant coloured beautiful silk sarees. These were not only a piece of silk fabric but something very dear and precious to her. A Saree is not just a saree for a woman but there are some emotional memories related  to it in a Hindu culture. Some of these beautiful things are very dear to me as my mother saved for my marriage and gifted me on my wedding day. Saree is a true love for an Indian woman with a bundle of feelings and memories attached to it. What is a "Saree'' or Sari? A Saree is a draped dress made from a single piece of fabric and can be between five to nine yards which is wrapped around by women in different ways (Different states have different styles to wear such as in Maharashtra and Gujarat it is draped in a different style). India is known to be the second largest producer...

Divine Mystery of Exorcism- Mehandipur Balaji Temple

Image
I belong to a Hindu family and where every child is taught the importance of Puja and how it can help you to stay away from negative energies around. India is a  religious country with many different  beliefs one such is supernatural powers like Bhoot/ Ghosts, spirits or a bad soul. I remember how badly I  used to get scared in the dark and it happened because I was scared of ghosts or  Bhoot (Bhoot in Hindu culture means a supernatural creature, usually the soul of a deceased person). This was all in stories and movies and it was believed  that if we go out during the dark under a certain kind of tree the Ghost will come to you and enter your body and won't go away. This was considered serious and dangerous for someone's life if not cured. One such ritualistic healing place was Bala ji Temple in Rajasthan state of India.  I had heard about Balaji temple in the northern part of India that was known for its exorcism rituals. Balaji is the name of a deity id...
